Dr. Philine von Kietzel
Dr Philine von Kietzell graduated from the University of Witten/Herdecke in Germany in 1994. Her family moved from Germany to Ireland in 2002. Since then, she has been working as a GP in Trim.
She enjoys the work of being a family physician because of the variety of issues that brings patients to the surgery and the possibility of caring for several generations of the same family. In her GP training she had a special focus on paediatrics, general internal medicine, rheumatology, orthopaedics and minor surgery. She holds a Diploma in Women’s Health from the ICGP and has a special interest in this subject, which covers family planning including the use of intrauterine contraceptive devices such as the Mirena Coil and the Implanon implant. She enjoys the teamwork involved in looking after patients with diabetes and she holds the ICGP Certificate in Diabetes care.
Outside work she and her family enjoy outdoor activities such as cycling, canoeing and hiking. She is a keen amateur cellist who loves chamber music. She is a member of the Hibernian Orchestra and also of Co-Orch Dublin (an orchestra that fundraises for Irish charities

Dr. Declan Connor
Dr Connor is one of our new team members joining our practice in 2018. Dr Connor graduated from UCD in 2011. He then went on to spend a year practising Respiratory and Gerantology Medicine in both the Bons and James Connolly. Dr Connor has completed the Irish GP vocational training programme and has full ICGP qualifications.
Dr Connor went on to further his career and in addition to his qualification in general practice holds qualifications in tropical medicine paediatrics obstetrics and gynaecology and psychiatry as well. Dr Connor has a strong interest in education and has a strongly advocates for holistic patient care. Dr Connor has an interest in running outside of the job and spends most of his down time on the running track or field.

Dr. Jose Ribas
Dr Ribas graduated in Barranquilla Colombia in 2000, from Universidad del Norte (North University).
He worked in the community since this time, doing calls in emergency settings both red eye shifts and on normal daily hours in primary care centres in rural villages and the city where was born (Santa Marta).
Keen on emergency , he moved to Casualties in private hospital alongside Primary Care until eventually moved to Spain in 2006. Both Spanish and Colombian, learned the best from both countries in regard to acute settings, always considering the sick as a whole unique and complex universe in need of care.
Dr Ribas trained in Family and Community Medicine in Spain and finished in 2014.
Dr Ribas moved to Ireland in 2016 where he began working as a GP. Even though Dr Jose loves to treat the sick person regardless age or personal / medical conditions, he has special interest in minor surgery, men's health, geriatrics and obstetrics.
