Our Fast Track service ensures your PCR test result is available normally within 24 hours (48 hours at peak times) through the secure portal where participants book their appointment-you will be notified via email to sign in and view your results.
For whatever reason you require a test, our service will be delivered in a comfortable professional clinic setting.
All testing is performed by our partner clinical laboratory who are INAB accredited to the ISO 15189 standard.
You can book a Covid-19 PCR swab test at any of these locations through the link above only if you are asymptomatic, that is, do not have symptoms of Covid 19.
If you have Covid-19 symptoms, you must attend a National Test centre, which your GP can arrange for you. Asymptomatic children can also avail of this Covid 19 PCR swab testing service, but must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
You can book a Covid-19 Antibody blood test if you are asymptomatic and it has been at least 2 weeks since you suspect you might have had Covid-19 infection. It can take up to 2 weeks to develop antibodies in your system. Please note, this test only looks for previous exposure to Covid-19 and is not a test of immunity. There is currently no validated test to assess immunity. Asymptomatic children can also avail of this Covid 19 Antibody testing service, but must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
On the Day of your Appointment:
When you attend your appointment, to limit the potential for cross infection, please:
- Wear a face mask
- Do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your appointment time (waiting rooms will not be available)
- Do not bring companions with you unless absolutely necessary.

FURTHER INFORMATION ON COVID 19 PCR SWAB, RAPID ANTIGEN and ANTIBODY TESTS
The Covid 19 Swab PCR Test :
This is a test carried by a qualified clinician, dressed in PPE, who takes a swab sample from your nose and from the back of your throat. This test will indicate the presence or not of COVID-19 in your body. This short process may be uncomfortable but is not painful. You should receive results within 24 hours.
What happens if my test is negative?
If your test is negative you will receive a text message advising you that your Covid-19 test is negative.
A certificate with your Covid-19 Swab result will be available on your booking account which you can download and print.
What happens if my test is positive?
If your Covid-19 test is positive, a member of our clinical team will contact you by phone and advise you of the positive Covid-19 test result.
Following this, a member of the HSE’s public health clinical team will contact you to commence contact tracing and organise testing for Covid-19 for your close contacts.
Rapid Antigen Testing @ Centric Specialist Care, Corrig Road, Sandyford
Rapid Antigen Testing is available from Centric Specialist Care, Corrig Road, Sandyford on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with results available within an hour at the price of €55. Please refer to the latest Government information at gov.ie and Dept of Foreign Affairs information for guidance on entry requirements if you are planning to travel as it is varies by destination. Rapid Antigen testing is available only at Centric Specialist Care, Corrig Road, Sandyford.
The Covid-19 IgG Antibody Blood Test
The Antibody blood test for Covid-19 is a blood test for presence of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies in your system. It is imperative that you should not assume full immunity from SARS-CoV-2 or the possibility of infecting others if you receive a positive result. All public health advice in relation to this virus should still be followed. It is your responsibility to accept the limitations of all Covid-19 antibody tests. Please read this detailed information sheet so that you understand the limitations of this test.
All Bookings for both the Covid-19 Swab test and Antibody Blood tests are through our 'Book Now' links above. Bookings can be made at any time of the day, 7 days a week. Please note, we cannot offer walk-in testing - each patient must have an appointment. Email queries can be sent to covidtesting@centrichealth.ie. As this is not an urgent care service, please do not send urgent email queries to us - please contact your GP. We aim to respond to your query within 48 hours, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
