Safer Practices

Our practices are open and safe for you and for our staff to attend:

  • We have risk assessed each point of contact with our patients and put measures in place to prioritise your health and wellbeing each time you visit the practice.
  • Whether you request an appointment by email or phone, a staff member will call you to discuss whether you need to attend the practice in person or whether it is possible to treat you via Doctor Video/Phone consult.
  • We have specific processes in place for suspected or confirmed Covid positive patients to protect everyone’s health.
  • You may be asked to wait in your car on arrival to minimise time in the waiting room.
  • We have blocked off some of our waiting room seating so patients sit 2 meters apart.
  • Appointments are staggered so that we can adhere to social distancing.
  • 2 metre social distancing points are marked around the practice for use by all.
  • Payment may be requested in advance by card to minimise time in practice and use of cash.
  • Hygiene screens have been installed at the reception area.
  • Our doctors and nurses wear face masks and aprons while seeing you.
  • Our teams now wear scrubs to reduce cross contamination from outside the clinic.
  • Patients are encouraged to wear their own face shield while attending the practice.
  • We ask that you use our Hand Hygiene Stations on arrival and departure.
