Glasnevin Family Practice - 36 Years of Medical Care 1987-2023

Glasnevin Family Practice is a dynamic, vibrant, friendly practice located at Harts Corner, Glasnevin. It was established in 1987 by Dr. Catherine Hayes and she was joined in 1993 by Dr Mary-Carmel Burke. They were in partnership until Dr Hayes` retirement in 2000. Dr Larry Bowles joined the team in 2000, becoming a partner in 2008. Dr Sarah Riney became a partner in 2013. Building on strong foundations, patient services were expanded further while deepening the emphasis on the quality of patient care. Over the years, we have welcomed Dr Maud Mc Kee in 1988, Dr. Fiona Dunne in 2012.

The team at Glasnevin Family Practice includes doctors, nurses and administration staff who strive to provide the highest standards of service to all of their patients. We provide a working environment in which partners and staff achieve excellence in their work. The goals of each and every staff member is to provide:

• Ease of access to doctors,
• Same day or next day appointments
• Choice of doctors both male and female
• Computerised recording

Computerised medical records give the patient the flexibility to see any of the doctors in the practice as doctors can access all of the patient histories at the touch of a button.  All of the information is secure, clear and easily accessed by us when required.  Back up is completed each evening and all of this is encrypted for security.

Good communication and comprehensive medical record keeping are the cornerstone of quality healthcare providers and are practised by all staff of Glasnevin Family Practice. 

All our medical staff participate fully and actively in the professional bodies which cater for General Practitioners.
