Position: Accounts Assistant

Location: Centric Health, Support Offices, Balally, Dundrum.

Terms: Full-time permanent role

Direct Report: Financial Controller

Responsibilities for the role will include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Finance Business Partners by assisting with the monthly preparation of management accounts within specified deadlines
  • Accounts receivable and debtor management
  • Accounts payable
  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Assisting with the preparation and reporting of company KPI’s
  • Ensuring compliance with internal control processes

Person requirements:

  • 2+ years accounts payable and receivable experience  
  • IATI or Part qualified ACA/ ACCA / CIMA
  • Strong skills in Excel
  • Accounts Package - Sage desirable
  • Strong time management skills with an ability to prioritise
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team player as the person will deal internally with different colleagues for each business unit, with business managers and external customer and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and implement change
  • Confident committed individual who works well under pressure
